..:: HOW WE MET ::..
GUNJAN AGARWAL started her career with Arthur Anderson as a Chartered
Accountant. After working for three years, she decided to do an MBA from the
Indian School of Business. A Citigroup Scholar while at ISB, she later joined
them in a finance role. However, she was haunted by thoughts of doing
something on her own. So, one fine Saturday morning, she quit her job,
came back to Delhi and became an entrepreneur.
BEJOY SURI did his bachelors and masters degree in Economics from the Sriram College of Commerce and the Delhi School of Economics respectively. He worked for a mutual fund for a while, and then joined the Indian School of Business. A stint with ICICI Bank and then with the business consulting side of Accenture followed. But he too had always dreamt of building his own company. So he quit to start a venture in recruitment and training with Gunjan in 2007.
POOJA KOTHARI studied economics at the St. Stephen's College and later at the Delhi School of Economics. Thereafter, she did a short stint with AF Ferguson in consulting and then worked as a journalist with The Economic Times. Most recently, Pooja was closely associated with media start-up Mindworks Global Media Services –an experience that made her want to take the plunge into entrepreneurship herself.
Loads of ambition and a burning desire to build something.
Lots of women colleagues and friends who were giving up their careers due to a lack of flexible work opportunities.
Three brains and not much money.
That's where we began.
So we roped in part-time designers, coders, and all our friends and family to help us build the MeraTime portal.
The result is in front of you.
Together, we hope to help women achieve the balance they want between their families and careers…
